This thesis deals with designing 3D scan method for visualization of laser beam. The first part deals with the division of 3D scanners and explains how they work. The second part compares various image processing tools and selects the most suitable for this work. The third part proposes a solution that explains the individual methods that were used or considered for this work. The fourth part deals with the solution, explaining how the methods has been created. The next part deals with practical experiments where proposed solutions are applied to different objects in different positions. The last part is the conclusion summarizing the results of this work.
Design of a 3D scanner for educational purposes
Paprsek, Adam ; Maxa, Jiří (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the submitted semestral project is research of 3D scanning object methods. The 3D scans utilization and types of these scans have been mentioned in the first chapter. The scanners are grouped into two basic methods – contact and contactless. The second chapter is dedicated to 3D model measurement principles, which are described in detail in four sub-chapters. In the following chapter is described design with complete realization 3D scanner with the implementation of the application for its controlling. Last part of the thesis concerns the 3D model editing and method evaluating.
Design of system model of L23 Blanik sailplane
Šenkýř, Miroslav ; Mališ, Michal (referee) ; Urík, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to create useful reference models of the glider L-23 Super Blaník and their use for framework proposal technology of production, which will improve accuracy and reduce labor intensity of production. The introduction of the thesis describes history of glider and historical overview of geometry transmission in terms of structure. The next chapter of the thesis deals with the description of reference models and rules of their creation. Section describing coordinate systems is closely linked with the previous chapter. Another section of thesis is dedicated to the importance of reference models in the product lifecycle. The creation and tuning of reference models of glider is described in the next chapter of thesis. The penultimate chapter deals with experiment, which allowed verification of reference model and product. The conclusion of the thesis describes proposed technology of production where used verified reference models and modern tools of CAD systems refine and facilitate production. The main objective in designing of reference models was the definition of high quality and usable surfaces. Also proposal technology of production was processed in order to ensure the improvement and simplification of manufacturing process.
Usage of 3D scanning in precise injection moulding
Chylík, Michal ; Čudek, Vladimír (referee) ; Zatočilová, Aneta (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is creating a complex study on the topic of 3D scanning and reverse engineering regarding technical praxis. Part of this bachelor thesis are three examples of usage. Using 3D scanner for reconstruction of plastic parts in marketing praxis, specifically for recovering of missing data and subsequent valuation. Using 3D scanner as an inspectional tool - a support for measurement of quality of plastic moulding. And last but not least an option of creating an identical part to fit requirements of tool shop. The drawing documentation including protocol for inspect and 3D models are included in the thesis.
Suggestion of Possible use of the Business Process Management Laboratory
Kolouch, Roman ; Luhan, Jan (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses in a proposal for the possible use of a newly built laboratory at the Faculty of Business and Management of the Brno University of Technology. The laboratory is focused on modern production processes. For this purpose is the thesis divided into three parts. The first part is the theoretical basis of the work, which includes procedures for the production and use of information systems in the production. Next is analysis of the laboratory, description of rooms, their purpose and their equipment. In the last sections, solutions are proposed.
3D scanner
Vrbičanová, Antónia ; Matějásko, Michal (referee) ; Spáčil, Tomáš (advisor)
The Bachelor Thesis deals with the creation of the 3D-scanner using webcam, laser, stepper motor, and Python programming language. The main goal of this work is to determine the accuracy and repeatability of the planar measurement using piece of the aluminum block by using specific methods of the image processing. By enhancement of measurement algorithm and stepper motor the coordinates of individual points a sample object are gained. It is possible to create a model in STL format from points coordinates using MashLab software.
Using machine vision for robot guidance
Gábik, Jaroslav ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
With the development of machine vision technologies, new applications that can increase production, versatility or simplicity of production systems are widely spread. This thesis deals with usage of machine vision for robot guidance. The task consists of creating a technique and its practical realization, where the proposed assumptions are verified. The main objective is to determine 3D position and orientation of a sheet metal part or subassembly of the body-in-white, which is lying within the reach of an industrial robot with respect to its base coordinate system. The proposed method is suitable for several types and dimensions of components, which meet certain requirements. Targeting the component is carried out by scanning significant points on the component with the help of the 3D scanner attached to the robot flange. Afterwards, gained data are processed in a designed programme. The theoretical part is focused on research in the field of machine vision, accuracy of industrial robots, compensation of their errors and manipulation and assembly of the sheet metal parts in automotive. Finally, an evaluation and recommendations for practice are provided.
Zeroshifting Transmission Mechanism Design
Mičola, Ivo ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
This thesis deals with no delay gear shifting. The first part is devoted to theoretical introduction. The next part describes comprehensive approach to vehicle dynamics, the choice of gear ratios, the use of reverse engineering to model the interior of the gear housing and the actual structural design of the internal components and strength analysis. Moreover, this work should fill the gap in the available literature which is publicly accessible.
Educational exercise for comparison of binary and Gray coding strategy and clarification of 3D scanning processes
David, Jan ; Hurník, Jakub (referee) ; Koutecký, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the educational exercise for comparison of binary and Gray coding strategy and clarification of 3D scanning processes of the structured light projection method. The aim of this thesis is to compile the educational exercise with using extend software for 3D scanner, which was developed on Institute of Machine and Industrial Design. The individual process steps of 3D scanning will be clearly described and illustrated. Then, the software will be modified in the Matlab software environment.
The use of optical methods in the diagnosis of electrical machines
Tobolák, Petr ; Kuchyňková, Hana (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
This term describes questions of scanning rotors of asynchronous motors using 3D scanner. At the beginning it deals with a theory of asynchronous motors, defects of these machines and last but not least also questions of 3D scanning. Directly it focuses on a practical processing of measured rotors and their necessary modifications using of a program GEOMAGIC. It includes a diagnostic of deviations of scanning components of rotors with a model created on a program AUTODESK INVENTOR and posiible reasons of their creation.
